Occupational therapists visit you at home to look at the practical difficulties you are having and work in partnership with you to assess your needs.

Your Occupational Therapy Service can help you if you live in the county of Nottinghamshire and have:

• a permanent and substantial impairment and have considerable difficulty with everyday tasks
• are having difficulty caring for someone with an impairment
• are a parent of a child with a permanent and substantial impairment

We do not provide equipment for temporary conditions such as a hip replacement. Short term needs are the responsibility of the NHS.
