Notts50Plus Projects - IT Champions

Description :

The IT Champions scheme aims to find people aged over 50 with an interest in IT, and train them to help their peers learn new computer skills.

Volunteers are needed to become trainers across the county, to deliver the programme and help people aged 50+ in Nottinghamshire to gain computer skills easily through the support of their peers.

Full support and training is available for volunteer trainers, and courses are run in a small, informal group setting.

The scheme is run by Rural Community Action Nottinghamshire. It is funded by local partnerships and is available to anyone living in the Nottinghamshire area aged over 50.

For more information on becoming a trainer or accessing a course in your area, please contact the project co-ordinator, Jane Jackman, on 01623 727600.
